Under the Mountain is a phrase used largely by the Orcs of Tolagâl to describe a vast subterranean realm beneath Sosaria. This realm is thought to be full of orcs, drow and other evil creatures constantly warring amongst themselves for dominance of the countless tunnels and caverns. Dwarves are also thought to dwell here in minor kingdoms and city-states.
The first Ashdurbûk of Tolagâl, Vrashk, returned under the mountain leaving his son Magrekh in command of his young empire. Vrashk is thought to still live, revelling in the constant battle and bloodshed beneath the earth, beside his loyal Uruk-Hai. The remnants of the Tolagâl army would later flee from the advancing Guardsmen Militia as their surface kingdom crumbled, retreating through the passages of the Garmogatz, with only a handful emerging later to join the Shadow Alliance.
