Sort of speaks for itself, doesn't it? - Kraadu

Rather than starting a new "talk" doodad, I'll just post in this'un. The point of links to none-existant articles is that people might feel compelled to create them. Granted, most will remain dead until a month of sundays, but still.. I don't think it's a good idea to just get rid of them nilly-willy. So please don't get rid of all dead-ends. If something looks like it warrants a new article, leave it be. If it's only mentioned once in a single page, go right ahead.- Jiub
I agree with this. Red links indicate important articles missing on the wiki. We should encourage people to contribute to them. --Gerbo 21:08, 28 February 2008 (CET)
I don't view an article for "Northern Yew" as particularly important. And just who is going to write an article for "Empath Abbey" or "Deep Forest"? Just makes the wiki look messy and unfinished. - Kraadu
Northern Yew.. that's a given, I suppose. No one's going to write an article for that, and it's not really the kind of thing that should be tagged in the first place. Might as well put a random tag in the middle of a sentance. But things that deal with specific locations, people, events etc. of interest should be. If the wiki looks all shiny and uniform that's superb. But it's first and foremost a site for information. - Jiub
Agreed. I suppose the correct approach to this is using common sense. I'm sure you'll find a lot more examples on inconsequential use of links. I've now made a revision of the article with the links I personally feel should be there. --Gerbo 23:51, 28 February 2008 (CET)
