Skara Brae is a large, forested island due west of Britain, its namesake city covers the bulk of it. It is a central point for seafaring expeditions heading westward. Spacious and widespread like Yew, Skara is well known for its rich game and beautiful scenery. The houses are intermixed with shops, schools, and parks, all connected via stone walkways.

Most of the houses and shops are made of Britannian wood and plaster, though the more permanent (and important) structures are made of stone. Around the outskirts of the city, the rangers set up camps, using shrubs, trees and skins as temporary shelters.

Skara Brae on the Europa-shard is a resolutely loyalist town, having been home to a number of pro-Council noblemen in the past, as well as the Britannia Guards' splinter-group, the Rangers of Skara Brae. In recent years it has become home to the Francophone Community of Skara Brae, lead by Count Emile Lampet. On the near mainland can be found the player-run town of Spiritwood, a centre of learning and art, with a long and important history.
