About Scarrab
As a human, Scarrab (human name Barret Racs) suffered from dissociative identity disorder caused by the poisoning of his abusive father. Seeking release from his pain, he sought immortality with the undead while in a dissociative break. As an unborn, Scarrab was obedient yet extremely unstable. After Scarrab's turning from an unborn to a skeleton, his disorder manifested itself still to a greater extent and he was able to use this to cause devastation.
Roles in the Undead
Best known for his role as Nightmare Captain, Scarrab brought the caste into the public eye as a fearful enemy. Other roles included the short lived Overlord rank, and eventually Ancient One of the guild.
Trivia
- In his earlier days as nightmare captain, Scarrab liked to play tricks involving poison on humans. Many victims were surprised when the present they were happy to have received gave them a dose of lethal poisons.
- Scarrab once inflamed the war between the Bujin'Kai and the Guardsmen Militia by planting misinformation on both sides, creating a stand off.
- Evil plans included such escapades as forcibly but temporarily turning the leader of Bujin'Kai into an undead minion to manipulate the clan, using custom built machine and a magic stone (named the soul stone).
