Sanctium is hidden among the crumbling islands of southern Malas is a ruined garden of collapsing stone spires and mouldering wooden causeways. This shadowed ruin, now home to naught but ghosts and viciously territorial Drow was once the home of an ancient darkness, the sanctuary of the Spectral Court in its twilight years.
Following the protracted siege of their ancestral home in the dark lands and the torpor of the Elder Angelus Moon, Scion of Mishra, the Wolfren Patriarch Ra'Karn Moon stepped forward and lead the court to the new lands of Malas, where Elder and fledgling alike laboured side by side to raise a fitting seat for the might of the clans. Soon the unnatural stars were occluded by mighty stone spires and gothic ramparts and a shadow more profound than the twilight of the void lay upon the earth.
The Spectral Court guarded their privacy jealously and kept their own council, pulling the strings of their mortal puppets in Trammel for their own amusement and edification for many years before their return to the darkness from whence they came.
While many buildings still stand on the island, the influence of the court has faded and the Sanctium of old is nowhere to be found.
