Northland People's Front

The Northland People's Front (abbr. NPF) see themselves as liberators of the people of the northern cities, specifically Yew, Cove, Minoc and Vesper. Their foremost goals are to abolish the nobility and to ratify the church. The Front has also spoken openly for defending the north from the loyalist threat. The Northland People's Front was announced on 21 February 2008.
It is still unclear, however, what role the Free Vesper Militia plays in this. Seemingly, one of the goals of the Front is to "free Minoc of Vesperian rule". Speculations are that the Front regards the old freedom fighters in the Vesperian militia to be reactionaries.
Proclamation
The Northland People's Front was announced through a tattered, hastily produced poster hammered onto walls across the northern cities of Britannia.
Hear ye, hear ye, free peoples of the North! Our brothers in the township of Yew have, for some weeks, fought for The People against a tyrannical regime! They have rocked, quite literally, the foundations of Stonekeep with their bravery and now the arm of revolution must reach East to embrace all the brethren of the North.
Too long have our Southern neighbours dominated the realm with the power of their wealth. Too far has the loyalist influence crept from the throne to our blighted lands. Too often have the lords of Yew, Vesper and Cove forced our swords against each other's shields while the ignoble warts of Trinsic and Britain fester 'peacefully' in their vanity!
Too corrupt have the Barons of Vesper become in their quest for riches and gold that they would annex their Minocian cousins. Too drunk on the power in his arm has the 'Protector' of Yew grown that he would turn it on his own people. Too seduced has the Baron of Cove become by the King and his Trinsician lapdogs that he sells out his rebel cause for courtly status.
The true men and women of the North are steadfast. We are stout, we are brave, we are honest and we must not be moved! The People's Front suggests Northland, a united North to stand against the crown that would enslave us! For this nation we will fight, for freedom in Yew, Minoc, Vesper and Cove we shall battle!
The 'NPF' stand to:
- Overthrow the self-proclaimed 'nobles' of Cove and Yew.
- Bring elected leaders to the towns of the North.
- Free Minoc from Vesperian rule.
- Remove the 'Magistrates' from our fair Church.
- Establish a Northland Council for all our leaders.
- Defend 'Northland' from the loyalist threat!
