Article of the Week is a part of the Main Page which is updated once a week with the first few paragraphs of an especially well-written article from the MoongatesWiki, alongside with a photograph or illustration.

The articles must be submitted on MoongatesWiki:Article of the Week/Week (W)W, YYYY where (U)U is a one- or twonumbered weeknumber and YYYY is a four-digit year. Use MoongatesWiki:Article of the Week/2008 to find the correct URLs.
At the moment this will give you the following result:

These will then automatically be updated on our main page when a new week starts (midnight, night to Monday). They will not need to be archived, as this happens automatically (see below).
