Minax was apprenticed to the dark wizard Mondain at a young age. In time, she grew to become his lover as well as his pupil. She survived Mondain's death and went into hiding, only to come back to conquer the Felucca facet of Ultima Online.

Very little is currently known about Minax, or the Dark Mistress as her minions call her, except that she seems at the origin of the attacks leading to the actual crisis in Britannia. She has made only a very limited of appearances so far, and her real goals remains unknown (other than the conquest of all Britannia and world domination). She was seen carrying the staff of Mondain, and is rumored to be his dark lover, most probably coming back for revenge.

Minax past involvement in the plots of the Followers of Armageddon has been suspected, but no evidence of it has been found yet.
