Lord British (or Cantabrigian British), the monarch and King of Britannia.

About Lord British

Lord British comes from Earth and is named Cantabrigian British, a name taken from his birthplace's name, Cambridge, UK. The name was given to him by his friend Shamino. Lord British rules Britannia from Castle Britannia in Britain.

In Ultima Online Lord British made various appearances and sometimes he visited even normal players and "blessed" their establishments, such as "Kent's Last Pint" in Yew, Catskills shard.

Lord British is also the nickname of Richard Garriott, the Ultima creator, himself.

Lord British is (almost) invincible, although a player managed to kill him in Ultima Online Beta. In the Ultima Series games it became sort of a sport for players trying to find ways and exploits to kill Lord British, being one of the very few really invincible characters in the game.
