Irvyn Middlethorn

Irvyn Middlethorn is the reigning Duke of Trinsic, and guildmaster of the Duchy of Trinsic.
Trinsic is currently ruled by the Middlethorn family, who hold the Duchy with sanction from the King, and in his absence, the Great Council.
Irvyn took over rule of the Duchy from his cousin, Ikus Middlethorn, who abdicated in the year 359 SR. He claims to be a fanatical and unquestioning loyalist, although this has often been disputed by Klion D'Gar of the Guardsmen Militia who maintains that Irvyn has long since swayed from "true" loyalist values. Irvyn has come under scrutiny from other allies in the past for his dove-policies (the advocacy of peace in place of war) and his strict moral code which has, on occasion, played its part in inter-Loyalist conflict. Regardless, he is an infinately popular man amidst the Trinsican citizenry and guardforce, and commands a great deal of respect from his fellow nobles.
