Humans are the predominant race in Ultima Online and the Ultima-series games. Most humans encountered were born in Britannia, but very few of them come from our planet Earth, through summons of Lord British or other means. Physically there are no differences between the two, other than the fact that those from Earth tend to live much longer.

In Ultima Online, humans are known as jacks of all trades, having a universal default of 20 skill points in every skill. The elves on the other hand, does not have these abilities, but have a higher mana regeneration rate and nightsight.

Racial Abilities in Ultima Online

• Strong Back — Humans have an increased carrying capacity above what is determined by their strength.
• Tough — Humans regenerate hit points faster than normal.
• Workhorse — Humans have a better chance at finding more resources while gathering hides, ore and lumber.
• Jack of All Trades — Humans have a basic ability in all skills, even untrained ones.
