Haven is a bustling city located in Trammel on the same island that hosts Ocllo on the Felucca facet. This island community is known for its hospitality and peaceful surroundings. As a result of this, Haven is a gathering point for adventurers that are new to the realm. Should a new adventurer find themselves in need of help, there will most likely be a fair number of veteran warriors around willing to offer their companionship and advice.
The Destruction of Haven
The city of Haven met it's end following the mass introduction of the highly volitile substance Blackrock by a group of suspect, hooded individuals. They bore little of the rock themselves, though promised treasures and artefacts to all who came to them bearing it. Sure enough the greedy and entrepreneurial folk of Sosaria came bearing Blackrock by the crate-load. At this time Blackrock was still relatively new, though many Magi were accutely aware of it's destructive capabilities, with scores of alchemists and apprentices torn limb-from-limb by the explosions it caused. No one knew of the traders' purpose, nor what they intended to do with the ever growing stores provided them. Indeed, the cause behind their ensuing actions remains a mystery. On one late afternoon, when many of the city's citizenry were retiring to their homes, the flowing fountain at the settlement's centre became the nucleus of tide of destruction. The traders' stocks of Blackrock had been gathered in a vault beneath this man-made spring, and – some say unintentionally – had been sparked in it's entirety, igniting a blast that shook the earth. Such destruction had not been seen in Sosaria for many centuries, and caused much fear and outrage. The vast majority of Haven's populace were stripped of flesh and sanity by the cataclysm, turned into little more than walking corpses. A few survivors made their way West, and there established the township of New Haven.
