Appearance
Haku was a fairly timid looking orc. Though he didn't seem to be scary or horrible to look upon you got the feeling there was something not quite right with Haku, whether it was his rather "unorcish" behavior or the fact he could remove certain body parts without feeling pain, most notably his eyes. Haku was rather muscular, having spent many hours mining. He was tall and broad and wore special, silver armor crafted himself and always carried and used a large, rugged old battle axe.
Background
The life of Haku is a strange one indeed. Neither spawned nor naturally born, Haku was crafted from various body parts of deceased orcs by the magician Warrblag. Haku was desperate for the approval of his orcish peers since he seemed more at home in the Shire than in the orc valley. Strangely, he was essentially a 'good' orc. No orc found him particularly worth bothering with, and if it wasn't for the fact he was Warrblag's "pet", he would have been killed long ago. Haku's social isolation continued until it was discovered that he was an exceptional blacksmith, in fact, perhaps the finest smith Tolagâl had produced.
Haku eventually became trained as a formidable soldier, perhaps cashing in his exceptional weapons for lessons, and found a place within the ranks of the Tolagâl army. He was created and fought during Magrekh's reign over Tolagâl and was responsible for creating a bomb that later destroyed Stonekeep, with the aid of Krishke and various snagi. Towards the coming of Kraadu, Haku lost his eyes, and was kidnapped by the Guardsmen Militia and tied to a tree, tortured and left to die. He managed to break his bonds and attempted to find his way back to Tolagâl, sightless, but failed, wandering the northern stretches of Britannia for years before finally being found by Krishke.
Now under Kraadu's regime, Warrblag recovered Haku's eyes and he began to contribute to Tolagâl once again. Though he became somewhat of an enemy of Kraadu's not only for being a talented orc, but for being manufactured as well, much to Kraadu's envy. Again, he was almost killed on several occasions under Kraadu's orders for socializing with Shirefolk, and other non-orcs, on a friendly basis. If it wasn't for Warrblag's influence over Magrekh and the respect Krishke held he would have been put to death.
Due to his usefulness, once Magrekh had been killed not much changed for Haku. He had proven himself and was considered a valuable part of the Tolagâl war machine.
Fall of Tolagâl
Haku was at the last battle of Tolagâl. He contributed hugely, designing and building many siege machines in previous years to defend the valley, as well as training new craftsmen to equip the orcish army. He fought to defend the mine and the orc's supply lines but generally remained in the background during the fighting. When Kraadu and Vrorbag destroyed the Ashdurbûk's Court court he was ordered to gather as many remaining orcs as he could, prioritizing the crafters, and flee into the garmogatz.
Haku, supposedly, now lives under the mountains, helping to build up a newer, larger and better equipped army to rise again and reclaim the surface.
Personality
Strangely, Haku was friendly. Though he did defend himself fiercely when attacked. He was annoyingly helpful and cheery and generated a lot of hatred from other orcs. He did begin to change, or at least pretended to, when around other orcs, acting more greedy, selfish and generally evil. Whether or not he has changed at all is unknown, even now.
