The Mines were a scene of many battles for the Orcs.
was the
Black Speech name for the mine in the valley south of
Yew that was considered to be part of the
Orcs of Tolagâl territory. It is also thought to be where the
Tolagâl Orcs first emerged into
Britannia. The mine was used to feed the Tolagâl war machine for many years and was the scene of many battles between the Orcs and the
men of the
Guardsmen Militia. Ultimately the mine fell under the partial control of the Guardsmen after the fall of Tolagâl, though those who are still loyal to the
Ashdurbûk are said to still attempt to undermine the Militia's attempts to harvest resources from it.
