Forums4Games (abbr. F4G), formerly known as The Guildhall, is a hosting site for gaming forums.
Downtime in September 2006
In September 2006 the Forums4Games boards suffered a massive downtime which lasted several days due to insecure software on their server. The database, containing several hundred thousand posts, was lost and this resulted in a community debate on moving to another forum. Some left for more popular boards, such as the UOForums and some decided to stay with F4G.
Even for those who decided to stay with F4G and had backups to enable them to re-post, all the links to the old posts will have to be changed. Some may have already edited their links, but for others it will take longer.
