The Duchy of Trinsic (abbr. DOT) was founded in 2000 and is a loyalist town-guild. Players take on the roles of the guards, clerics, paladins and citizens of Britannia's second city - the long-term de facto headquarters of the loyalist cause - ruled by Duke Irvyn Middlethorn.

About the town
- "The Western Road begins amongst the cities and villages of Brittany Bay and comes to its end far to the south on the Great Sea's coast. It is here that the magnificient walled city of Trinsic proudly stands facing the sea, a glorious challenge to those who would bring dishonour to the Kingdom. A visitor will likely find a city where enduring friendships are readily made, and where lagging faith in the ultimate triumph of honour and truth will be bountifully restored."
- — Lord Shalineth in 129 A.D
Trinsic is stately and impressive, as befits the city that celebrates the Virtue of Honour. The Western Road that begins on the shores of Britanny Bay comes to its end here, far to the south on the Great Sea's coast. It is a city of broad avenues, tree-lined streets, parks, fountains and magnificent mansions. Tradition has it that even the lowliest commoner in Trinsic has his family's coat-of-arms hanging on the walls of his dwelling. Said dwelling is made of stone and brick, naturally; there are no wooden hovels to be found within Trinsic's walls.
Trinsic is home to many knightly orders, whose origins can be traced to the wars fought against the Triad of Evil. Some of these knights choose a path emphasising virtue rather than combat prowess, and take the path of the Paladin. The greatest champions are renowned in song as the pinnacle of Britannian chivalry.
Trinsic's devotion to its Code of Honour is both its strength and its greatest weakness. Its citizens, while stout-hearted and true, have a reputation for taking themselves very seriously; sometimes more seriously than is warranted. Normally this is relatively harmless, but there have been many great knights who were corrupted by the sin of Pride, and fell from grace. Many of these so-called black knights were destroyed along with their lords, at the end of the Age of Darkness. Some survived, however, and still seek to destroy all the things that they once held dear. Foremost among these things is the city of Trinsic.
Some notable areas in the Duchys Trinsic are: The Five Aces, the Trinsic Shades, Paladin Isle, the Elven Quarter and the Dukes Office.
Merger with the Elven Guild
In January 2008, the Duchy of Trinsic merged with the Elven Guild, one of the few remaining elven guilds left on Europa. All former Elven Guild members retained their old ranks as they joined the guild. Their primary residence, the Elven Quarter, continues to be administered by the elves, but is officially a part of Trinsic's lands.
