Corporals of the Guardsmen Militia

The ranks of Corporal and Lance Corporal within the Guardsmen Militia are temporary appointments, typically lasting around six months. The role of a corporal is generally assigned to promising and experienced veterans of each division, briefly elevating them to a middling officer rank, above divisional Firsts but below the Sergeants. The Lance Corporal holds much the same station within the Militia, though has a much wider range of responsibilities, providing tasks and provisions for the entirety of the rank-and-file.
