Britanny Bay

The Bay of Britanny is an extension of Sosaria's inner sea, sandwiched between the Fens of the Dead and the midland coast. It derives its name from the River Britanny, which snakes through Britain and drains into the bay itself. There are five thinly populated islands in the greater bay; Blanche Isle, Eiffel Isle, Horseshoe Isle, Marble Isle, and Ocarina Isle. According to the lore of the land, a mighty lighthouse once dominated the centre of the bay, though both it and the isle it was built upon fell into the ocean following a cataclysmic earthquake. Many sailors and merchants traverse these waters, arriving or bound from places both near and far. It is without doubt the busiest stretch of water in Sosaria, fuelling the kingdom's capital with food, resources, and alien luxuries.
Britanny Bay on Europa
The islands of the Bay were "discovered" by Jarvis Miller, explorer and cartographer of the Baronship of Cove. Veterans Tiberius Kane and Hrothgar De'Mar would later claim them as part of the Baron's colonial empire. This has not been expanded upon or contested, with the isles' role in guild lore being a simple and sunny home-from-home for the Covian elite, and a regular retreat for Baron Octiovus quite simply dubbed "the Colonies". According to sources within the ministries of the capital, they have no source of any rightful owner of the area, and rumours are the ministry itself actually "lost the records"; much to the disbelief of loyalists.
