Bob-invasions

A Bob-invasion is a common form of cross-shard protest, usually used when shards have been down for excessively long periods of time. The protest happens thus; large groups of players from one shard create characters using the inspirational name of "Bob", they then log on and generally stand around making a nuisance of themselves (causing lag, for instance). Even if it doesn't achieve anything, many find it quite fun.

Players sometimes expanded the idea by making a rival group of characters known as Freds, and indulging in Bob vs Fred wars, resulting in large piles of corpses
