Besiegers' Revolt

The Besiegers' Revolt was a short and bloody clash within the ranks of the Guardsmen Militia of Yew. The nature of this dissent seems to have been more religious in nature than political, as the Besiegers' occult lodge-gatherings and borderline heretical worship of the Archangel Pyros brought them, innevitably, into conflict with the Avatarian Church.
Officially the Magistrate (inquisitorial element of the Yewish Church) quashed the heresy in the revolt's wake, though rumours have since resurfaced of the Besieger's continued adulation of Pyros, and the return of their old fraternal, cult-like practices. Suffice to say, the Besiegers deny any heresy within their brotherhood.
