Name : Akira Toruna

Height: 5'9

Hometown: Lived on his family farm before he set foot in Nihon and stayed there.

Age: Late 40's when he met his death , served as an ashigaru at the age of 15.

Description: Akira is of medium, athletic build, there is nothing special about him that would instantly draw your gaze. His attitude however, is forged through years of hard work and discipline. The expression on his face is the same as it has always been, full of pride and confidence.

Memorable moments:

  • Becoming the Daimyo's (Morihei) first ever student.
  • Joining the Kenjutsuka division in its prime. Being a part of the loudest and most feared divisions at the time formed the base of his pride.
  • Leading a new division - the Hi dokorro.
  • After the return from Istaria, serving the new Daimyo (Honzu) as Hatamoto.
  • Maintaining a leading position in the war campaign against the Celts of Kallahar.
  • With Okamura stepping down, taking over his duties as Gokenin.
  • Leading the war campaign against Serpents Hold, which ended in a defeat. During this he was captured twice, which was a big blow to his pride.
  • After his Daimyo's decision of allying with the Army of Kaldor he led the Kotodama to victory by occupying Cove. Resistance came from many sides as nearby settlements joined Cove in their attempt to overthrow the combined force of the Kaldorians and Samurai.
  • Akira saw the Cove campaign as a nice ending to his career and decided to resign from his military position afterwards to settle down.
  • One year later, he was murdered in his sleep by an enemy assumed dead, Satsumori Seisho. The deamon warrior was an enemy of the Kotodama in their last days but was struck down in front of Trinsic. How he managed to resurrect himself is still unknown.
