Agnes Fretting was born in 309 SR, a simple country bard. She possesses the curse of The Sight which enabled her to predict the destruction of Leafsta and flee with her natural-born son, Smaed Fretting and her nephew Jern Fretting to her uncle, Digs Delver, a miner who lived near Trinsic. She is the author of The Book of Leafsta where she set down the history of her people. (This is an in-game ten-volume book currently held by two libraries and that can also be read on the CoRE forums). After Smaed Fretting left to join the Guardsmen Militia in Yew, she went north to search for survivors, and eventually found Tyg Husbond, the only known witness of the destruction. Agnes is currently studying magic and inscription and is the Librarian for the Borough of Yew.
