Appearance

Adrian is of average height and weight. Though he is not particularly muscular, nor weak, his movements are marked by an effortless grace and determination. No distinguishing marks adorn his body, though some say his hair is unnaturally coloured. His face is narrower than normal, and is tarnished with slight wrinkles and stubble. He stares through green, experienced eyes.

Personality

Adrian tends to keep to himself. He is suspicous of anyone taking an interest in him or his work. As a spartan person, Adrian maintains a organised, clean and un-cluttered backpack and lifestyle. Upon successful completion of a job, Adrian takes a break from his rustic lifestytle to enjoy a glass of fine wine. He also harbours a peculiar fondness for animals.

Role

Essentially, Adrian is a blade for hire, though quintessentially, he could be so much more.

Background

Not much is known about Adrian Donato before he met Hedlyn ap Rhyn in a Vesper bar. Popular theories include that he was once a Waywatcher of the militia, a pirate from Nujel'm and the long lost heir to a line of assassins. None are true. The actual truth is far more mundane. Adrian Donato was born in a small community of trappers near Vesper. There, he learned the ways of the hunt, the use of light blades and the art of stealth. The trappers no longer live in the area, though their settlement remains.

After the settlers moved on, it was widely believed that Adrian had died of an illness, though he re-emerged as a fence in the Thieves guild almost twelve years later. Somewhere, he had picked up knowledge of poisons, theft and, most important, a fluency in Thieves Cant.
